NYC Scented Candle

Produced with the official license of the New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), this scented soy blend wax candle is contained in a glass jar that bears the name and design of NYC subway-stop signage, in the iconic helvetica typeface. New York City Subway street-level signage is represented in MoMA’s collection, designed in 1966–1970 by Massimo Vignelli, Bob Noorda, MTA New York City Transit, Bergen Street Sign Shop.This NYC Scented Candle is made by Urban Lights, a brand founded in 2019 by Elisabetta Beatrici and Taner Oktar, two Harlem-based neighbors who began making candles in their kitchens together. The design is inspired by their mutual passion for candles and New York City. Committed to sustainable design, the pair only use quality materials that are safely manufactured, clean and slow burning. Made in the USA, each Urban Lights NYC Sceneted Candle (sold separately) has a cotton wick, a signature scent, a burn time of 60 hours and measures 4h x 3”diam. Spring Street: Dominant notes of peppermint and fig are rounded by a vetiver accent to create a forward green scent. This fresh and botanical fragrance celebrates one of the trendiest and artistic neighborhood in New York  5th Ave: Tiger lily and Tahitian tiare’ are enhanced by the rich warmth of velvet musk.
